Polak, Jessica
Jessica Polak grew up in Zurich, Switzerland. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Zurich and her master’s degree from ETH Zurich, specializing in Molecular Health Sciences. As part of the Biomedical Systems Group, her doctoral study is focusing on the development of novel biological and technical solutions to improve the quality of three-dimensional in vitro skin models to reduce the necessity for animal testing and risky human clinical trials. This project runs through close collaborations with multiple research groups and brings scientists from different research fields together.
